JENNIFER CARPENTER LOW
Jennifer Carpenter Low is Vice President of Smile Farms, Inc. As Vice President, Jennifer leads the development and execution of Smile Farms’ vision and strategy. Smile Farms provides meaningful employment, vocational, and educational opportunities in agricultural settings to people with disabilities, serving hundreds of adults and children across seven campuses.
Jennifer brings 27 years of experience in the nonprofit sector serving in program, development and executive roles working with local, national and international organizations.
Before joining Smile Farms, Inc., Jennifer served as Associate Vice President of Fund Development at NYC Leadership Academy, a leader in delivering results for students through strong school leadership. Jennifer has held notable positions in communications and media relations and marketing and brand management at Long Island University and the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County.
As a development leader at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, Jennifer raised over $4.5M in funding and in-kind media sponsorships for UNICEF’s emergency responses in Haiti and Japan.
Jennifer began her career at the Anti-Defamation League where she expanded award-winning A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute programs in seven European countries, Japan and Israel, and was as a member of the Bertelsmann Foundation's International Tolerance Network.
In 2019, Jennifer was named Vice Chair of the Board for Mondays at Racine Cancer Care Program. She serves in multiple volunteer positions for various organizations. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oneonta and is a 2020 Alumni of Distinction Honoree.
