BETH KARCHER

Beth graduated with an MBA from Cornell’s The Johnson School and joined The Bank of New York in their management training program.  She worked in Private Banking, as a lender in Asset Lending and a Corporate Workout Officer in Corporate Workout.  While taking a professional leave to raise her children, she held many positions in the Nassau County Parents of Multiples Club, including President, Fundraising Vice President, Treasurer, Programming Vice President, and Membership Vice President.  She was voted the Member of the Year in 2005.  Her accomplishments include changing the name from the Nassau County Mothers of Twins Club to a more inclusive Nassau County Parents of Multiples Club, raising declining membership from less than 100 members to over 130 members, and increasing fundraising gala dinner profits from $3,500 to over $7,000.  Prior to joining Smile Farms, Inc. she was the Bookkeeper for Emotions Matter, Inc., a non-profit group supporting those with borderline personality disorder.  Beth enjoys sports, reading and spending time with her family, including two sets of twins.
