Smile Farms – A Great Nonprofit Community

I joined the Smile Farms team in January 2020. In four short yet impactful months, I have been blown away by the strength and vibrancy of the Smile Farms community. From donors -- to Smile Farmers and their families -- to our partner agencies -- to our volunteers, Smile Farms is truly something special: a community unwavering in our commitment to improve employment, vocational, and educational opportunities for people with disabilities.

As a result of our dedicated community, we are honored to earn a spot on the 2020 GreatNonprofits Top-Rated List. What makes this prestigious recognition so special is that members of our Smile Farms community took time out of their busy lives to share their stories. We were incredibly touched to read the beautiful testimonials and affirmations about our work and impact.

One of my favorite parts of working for Smile Farms is our philanthropic partnership with 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. and our Brand Ambassadors. Sara has been a Brand Ambassador since Smile Farms’ earliest years and her review perfectly captures this special relationship:
