DIANA MARTIN

Managing Director

Diana Martin holds a Masters of Social Work from Stony Brook University and comes to Smile Farms with 10+ years’ experience in human services and 5+ years' experience in non-profit development.

Diana has served in fundraising and outreach positions at LICADD (Long Island Council on Alcoholism & Drug Dependence), the leading substance abuse treatment and prevention agency on Long Island, Brighter Tomorrows, a domestic violence agency in Suffolk County, and most recently as the Special Events Coordinator at North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center, a children's mental health agency in Nassau County.

In each of these positions, Diana has been responsible for orchestrating the agencies' multiple multi-faceted fundraisers, as well as serving as a liaison between the organizations and all vendors, donors and talent.  She has also been responsible for digital and print marketing, social media and press relations.

Diana is deeply proud to have been one of the original five female co-founders of ECLI (Empowerment Collaborative of Long Island), a Suffolk County non-profit that provides trauma-informed crisis intervention, advocacy and transition to independence services to survivors of abuse.  She strongly believes that the path to personal fulfillment is paved by individual empowerment, and she seeks to uplift and support all those in need as their journeys unfold.

Diana is excited to bring her passion for impacting change and growing opportunities for others to the Smile Farms family.
