The employees were able to meet and hang out with the adult works in their Day Hab center, where they all had an instant connection. Everyone was sharing names, stories, and smiles with one another, which made such a special moment for the group and the workers. 

The employees were assigned two tasks for the day, the first being filling baskets with liners and soil to late be filled with plants and flowers by the workers. This task really helps the adult workers in such a big way as it allows for more work to get done and more for them to accomplish!

Second, the employees cut small weeds, vines, and roots, out of a small area of plowed land, and raked up the excess so a tarp could be laid down on the ground. The area is going to be used as a storage place for pots and plants, as well as acting as a decorative piece of the property.

The day was really great for the employees and well as the adults and staff. The connections were great between the groups and made a positive impact all around. The employees helped out tremendously at the farm and we are so happy they were able to come out to support and help Smile Farms.
