Our pepper production this year is officially underway! Thanks to our incredible farmers and the help of our proactive partners at Brooklyn Grange, we anticipate doubling this year’s harvest so more Smile Farms BurnAbility Hot Sauce can be bottled. We are so grateful for the relationship that has blossomed with Brooklyn Grange. From the beginning they have been a part of our pepper experience, helping us grow and nurture them to their full extent. When the peppers were first introduced to our League Education and Treatment Center in Brooklyn, we have been able to collaborate with Brooklyn Grange in order to expand to other campuses as well. 62 of the Brooklyn Grange peppers were just planted at The Viscardi Center last week and another 50 plants were delivered to IGHL at Cornell Cooperative Extension. Stay tuned to follow our hot sauce journey from starter plant, to pepper harvest, to the bottling process of our delicious hot sauce!
